Every choice has a consequence.
In a close-knit church and the families around it, young believers and their relatives face temptation, family conflict, addiction and crime. Each must choose between their own way and God's, and every choice has consequences that ripple through everyone they love.
A Voice at the Door
Brandon is torn between his girlfriend and his walk with God, and a friend urges him to simply agree with God. Much of the episode is carried by original gospel rap.
Stephanie's Prayer
Stephanie prays that Brandon will be hers and brags to Indy that he loves her, until Brandon tells her their relationship is over. Meanwhile a church leader's warning leaves Stephanie feeling judged.
What Is Lust?
The youth meeting studies James 1:14 and the true nature of lust, while Brandon quietly ends a relationship. Bianca asks why church folk can be so critical and raises what happened to Erica.
Mercy for the Prodigal
A cousin urges a young man not to waste God's mercy, a family emergency ends with a call for an ambulance, and Brandon cries out for forgiveness. Worship music carries much of the episode.
Brandon's Sister
Stephanie rushes to support Brandon when his sister Zori lands in the hospital, clashing with Bianca on the way out. James confronts Leanne about the mixed counsel she gives the youth, and Tyrone visits Zori's bedside.
I Am Pregnant
Stephanie turns up at Brandon's home and announces she is carrying his child. Erica, tormented by dark thoughts, calls for help and is prayed through the night, while Leanne grumbles about James.
A Dream of Judgment
Leanne tells the leaders about a frightening dream, and the Bishop lovingly confronts the jealousy in her heart. Stephanie tells Indy she is pregnant and insists Brandon will marry her.
Meeting Brandon's Mother
Stephanie meets Brandon's mother, who hopes to talk things through, but when Brandon refuses marriage, Stephanie makes a drastic threat. A phone call puts Tyrone's name on a family member's radar.
Vengeance Is the Lord's
Stephanie arrives at a clinic and meets a doctor who prays instead. An FBI agent is pressed by family to punish Tyrone for hurting Zori, and James counsels Brandon with the story of David.
Taking Responsibility
Brandon apologizes to Stephanie and promises to be there for the child, while Zori defends Tyrone to her family. Antoine's ex-wife Sandra asks him to keep their daughter Kamiyah for the summer.
A House Divided
Trina comes home to find Kamiyah staying for the summer without warning, and a family quarrel boils over. At youth fellowship, young people open their hearts ahead of the coming revival.
The Revival
Trina tells her chief there will soon be news on the Grayfield case, and Stephanie is rushed for medical help. The long-awaited revival brings dance, song, rap and an altar call.
Is the Baby Okay?
The youth are shaken by a sudden loss, and the Bishop calls them to take their souls seriously. Brandon and James hurry to the hospital, where Stephanie anxiously waits for news.
